Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts submitted to Research Horizon (RH) undergo a thorough plagiarism screening process to ensure academic integrity. Each submission is first checked for similarity using a double cross-check system, which may include manual verification of proper citations and quotations, as well as the use of plagiarism detection software such as iThenticate. Any manuscript with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be rejected.
Authors are required to adhere to strict ethical guidelines regarding originality. This includes avoiding the verbatim use of another author's language without proper quotation marks or citation, and refraining from presenting someone else's ideas without appropriate acknowledgment. Additionally, authors must not submit the same article to multiple journals, as recycling papers without substantial changes constitutes unethical practice. If reusing prior work, authors must ensure that significant modifications are made to the new article to maintain its originality and scholarly value.
