Strategic Leadership and Organizational Performance: Examining the Role of Leadership in Sustainable Business Success

Organizations operate in increasingly dynamic and competitive environments where effective leadership is essential for achieving organizational objectives and sustaining long-term success. This study examines the role of strategic leadership in influencing organizational performance and sustainable business growth through a qualitative Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. The findings indicate that strategic leadership contributes significantly to organizational performance by shaping strategic direction, strengthening organizational culture, enhancing decision-making quality, and improving adaptability. The review further reveals that leadership supports competitive advantage, organizational resilience, and sustainable growth by facilitating innovation, strategic alignment, and effective resource utilization. As organizations face increasing environmental complexity and technological change, strategic leadership emerges as a critical capability for maintaining performance and long-term sustainability. The study highlights the importance of leadership development in supporting organizational success within contemporary business environments
